Shoe of the Week: Nina Ricci platforms

Whenever I look at these shoes, the song "#1 Crush" by Garbage enters my head:

I would love a pair of these. Preferably in black but beggars can't be choosers -- a pair of these and I could die happy. How tragic that the first collection for Nina Ricci that I really, absolutely went head-over-heels for was Olivier Theyskens' last at that house...

Direly late, but... the Winklepicker!

Jil Sander lace-up leather brogues, courtesy of Net-A-Porter. At $505, these are a *tad* steep. Gorgeous, but really...!

The following shoes are all from Pennangalan.com -- I wish I could own them all. They also have a lovely selection of Chelsea boots with Winklepicker toes. Cuban heel winklepicker boots in black suede... yummy.

Shoes of the Week: Lanvin

Loving the new Lanvin shoes! There are many-many that I love at the moment... these mary-jane booties (pictured in Anthracite) are neatly-designed and practical. I can see getting so much use out of these, and loving them every time. Plus that heel seems very well-balanced -- I don't know, the new chunky triangular heels look really nice but they are often set too far back for my foot. It's definitely a problem.

I couldn't resist posting these as well, though... on the Marie Antoinette end of things, here are two delightfully decadent pumps which I would love to own:
